THE interval course

Apply - now

Where we begin

There is a moment that can return us to trust or bring us to disconnection. It happens in the contact between our inner world - sensing, feeling, thinking - and what is happening.

In this course we study ourselves in relation to that moment. Not as theory although we apply science and theory for grounding in what we do.

What we practice

In our course, practice means allowing for confusion and questioning to better meat our experience in performance directly: Without ruching, without collapsing and without being inattentive or rushed/mechanical.

We work with three pillars

  1. Allowing for experience

Letting experience meet us as it is, in fresh ways everytime.

We build steadiness not through force, but through constancy of will and choice. The quiet steering of attention, like orienting a sailship so the sails stay open to the wind and glide with the deeper currents of the ocean. It is the willingness to face reality the moment - to let intention, imagination and decision take form in the world.

  2. The Interval

We attune to our rhythm and feel where our patterns shift. We apply metacognition for a larger panorama.

In our inner space we can feel the subtle shift from the unseen “I” to our movement in the world.

  3. Deliberate engagement

We attune to ourselves in a way that respects our innate intelligence and dignity. Not forcing change, not drifting - but applying ourselves with more clarity and care. We build from what is meaningful and valuable to us. Understanding we are and that we shape.

Will is firm intention reaffirmed through time….

What you can expect

Most people who take this course aren’t looking for breakthroughs but a new sustained approach to elements in their life.

They are looking for a way to move through their days with a little more steadiness, with more clarity, with less internal noise and wish to find their ability to move their life into a track that fulfills their innermost self better.

What we practice is simple and not superficial.

How to revisit your thinking about your life and yourself in a way where you notice what is happening inside of you right at the moment when you usually might rush past it. How you can analyse your ways and your life at the right moments to enjoy not doing it when you are doing the things you want to do or have to do.

People who work with this seriously often find that:

  1. Things stop piling up inside

You begin to catch yourself before overwhelm hits

For instance if you previously have surprised yourself by having an accident when things weren’t to your liking, or you have suddenly known you totally over reacted especially if emotionally. Or if you know you have not shown up for the significant others in your life as you wanted or had a hard time to relate in the ways you want.

This is not trauma therapy but a course helping you to access self and the relation to connection in a differently informed way.

2. You respond with a little more ground under your feet.

Maybe not perfectly - not all the time. Yet evermore more there for yourself and others. Your keel gets more even. You are happier with self.

3. You feel truer to yourself

You have a sense of repeated returning to what is good and comforting in you.

Not dramatic but real.

4. You evaluate pressure differently - you know what you will or will not tolerate better

Pressure becomes information - not a sign you are failing.

5. You strengthen your resolve for choice.

You notice the moment for choice better. You apply it.

People who stay with this often discover that moment:

Becomes more visible…

more usable…

more honest…

more coherent….actions align better with what matters to you.

For someone with a great level of training….an elite sportsperson, clinician, leader, researcher, a mother working a full time top career, this doesn’t feel dramatic. It feels like finally having a language and practice for something sensed but usually not formally worked on. We give you a moment in existence to work with what at times already there with finer resolution.

When you learn more consciously to work with the Interval you find shifts in the moment that connects what you sense/feel to what you do.

This is the method. Practical, grounded and meant for people living real lives with real demands.

This is our promise: We will train our conceptual ability to work with this as clearly and as honestly as we can. Even using confusion as a tool to reach our aims.

These are typical developments:

A steadier relationship to pressure. Staying with experience instead of rushing to manage it, pressure is seen more as information than stress.

Confusion stops being a crisis and starts being a state we utilize for our good.

Automatic reactions soften there is more room to appear in more authentic ways.

There is a growing feeling of coming int fresh contact with oneself.

Decisions are made with more steady and peaceful conviction. This happens quietly through living not force.

A renewed trust in personal intelligence

People often rediscover forgotten or sidelined inner competence that may have been buried under self-management, pressure, overthinking or has until then felt too “natural” or common to get deserved inner recognition.

“Most trainings, even at very high levels, only use the interval where pressure, perception and meaning converge in narrow, domain-specific ways. This work makes the interval explicit, generalizable, and connected to meaning and dignity; across a persons whole field.”

* much high-performance training is built on suppression, compartmentalisation, or internal aggression. We wish to remove the self-violence from the picture.
